Peter joined iSherpa Capital in 2001, after co-founding and building Qwest Wireless into a $1 billion company with over one million subscribers. As the Chief Executive Officer of Qwest Wireless, he won national and international awards for his leadership in developing innovative wireless products, including the Telecom 1999 Financial Times Global Telecoms Award for “Best Enhanced Use of Intelligent Network,” which was awarded for the deployment of the first totally IP-based wireless network.

Peter led Qwest Wireless’ successful deployment of the PCS Access Network, which culminated in a CDMA 2000 Industry Achievement Award for Infrastructure Product Innovation. This network incorporated the first multi-vendor integrated wireless/wireline architecture. Peter has also held senior management positions at Bell South Mobile Data and General Electric.

Peter currently sits on the Board of Directors of TensorComm and Clarity Technologies, and is an observer on the Board of Directors of Ziptronix and Aura Communications. In addition, he sits on the Board of Advisors of the Engineering School and the Bard Center for Entrepreneurship, both at the University of Colorado. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of CTIA.
